In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, join Naturally Austin and Naturally Boulder for a webinar in three parts focusing on natural brands and sustainability. Join us for one session or all three! (Please note that each requires separate registration.)

Kate Bailey
Kate Bailey is the Policy and Research Director for Eco-Cycle, based in Boulder, Colorado. Eco-Cycle is one of the oldest and largest non-profit recycling organizations in the world and has 44 years of hands-on experience with nearly every aspect of the recycling system, including hauling materials, MRF operations, education and outreach programs, local and state legislation, advocacy, and hard-to-recycle material collections.

Alyssa Harding
Alyssa Harding is the Executive Director of the Sustainable Food Trade Association. She has an educational foundation in agricultural ecology, a pending master’s degree in Environmental Policy, and a strong personal mission to drive institutional change through sustainability. She previously managed Corporate Responsibility at Justin’s, a Boulder-based nut butter company, where she built the company’s sustainability and philanthropic programs from the ground up, incorporating a local, state and national focus for each effort to deliver on the organization’s triple bottom line. Before Justin’s, she worked in the environmental sector for Colorado-based water conservation non-profits on the 1% for the Colorado River Plan, and also spent time working in the solar industry developing renewable energy infrastructure in Denver. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of both Naturally Boulder and the Climate Collaborative, and has published articles with PowerHouse Growers, educating readers about food security and sustainable agricultural solutions.

Carolyn Klindt
Carolyn Klindt is the Packaging Circularity Manager for Danone North America, a top 15 food and beverage company in the U.S. and the largest Certified B Corporation® in the world. Carolyn is helping to lead the effort around accelerating the transition from a linear to a circular approach for product packaging, where packaging that is made is reused or recycled continuously. Prior to joining Danone North America, Carolyn led packaging development for WhiteWave Foods, Dean Foods and ConAgra Foods across a multitude of food and beverage brands over the span of 10 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Packaging from Michigan State University and recently completed her MBA at the University of Denver.

Peter Mohr
Peter Mohr is a Regional Sales Executive at ePac Boulder serving local and regional brands with pre-media, digital printing, laminating, and pouch making services for natural and organic food brands. ePac’s sustainable initiatives and the company’s poise for disruption attracted him to the food packaging industry. Peter’s introduction into the natural products industry began with Naturally Boulder as the organization’s second hire. He’s continued to foster community throughout Colorado by his continued involvement volunteering with Naturally Boulder as well as joining the Board of Directors of Colorado Food Works where he continues to connect entrepreneurs to resources, needed connections, and business solutions.

Aimy Steadman
Aimy is a Co-Founder and COO at Future Proof Brands, creators of BeatBox Party Punch, Brizzy Seltzer Cocktails, and Corkless Canned Wines. Future Proof is a disruptor in the beverage alcohol market that develops powerful brands that drive incremental profit in high-growth categories. A “double-Longhorn,” Steadman earned both her B.S. in Advertising and M.B.A. in entrepreneurship at the University of Texas at Austin. Steadman’s past experience included working in online marketing at agencies and in-house at the Central Texas Food Bank; running her own online marketing agency; and helping run the UT-based start-up incubator, Texas Venture Labs. Steadman also DJ’d for KVRX Austin 91.7 FM from 2006-08 and again in 2011. In 2011, together with and her friends Brad Schultz and Justin Fenchel, Steadman founded BeatBox Beverages, LLC. The company received national recognition after a 2014 appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, during which the company received a $1M investment from Mark Cuban, his largest to date at the time. A Series A round of financing added another $4.7M to their war chest, and celebrity involvement from Kevin Lyman, founder of Vans Warped Tour; DJs GTA, Party Favor, and Cut Snake; and TV personality and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek.

Helene Thibieroz
Helene Thibieroz is the founder of We Grow Green Tech, a benefit corporation with a mission of helping scaling green technology solutions for a better future. As a technologist and business entrepreneuer who thrives on solving comple puzzles unifying technology, business and environment, she strongly believes technology can be successfully applied to create practical solutions to shape a better future. She is currently focusing on accelerating growth of green technology early-stage companies with a focus on plant-based economy and mentors/advises at several world leading accelerators and universities.
