Biographies

John Grubb served as Managing Partner of Sterling-Rice Group, Inc. His 20+ years of business experience are divided evenly between senior executive positions and general management consulting. His consulting career began at Bain & company, where he served on a wide range of industries and cased. After Bain, he became Senior Vice President of mktg at smith & Hawken. In later executive and ownership roles, he led marketing and business development efforts, with significant joint venture, licensing and acquisition experience. For the past five years, Mr. Grubb has spent the majority of his time working in the food industry, with experience in food processing facility design, grocery retailing foodservice, and distribution. Mr. Grubb holds MBA in competitive strategy from Yale University. He’s recently launched Summit Venture Management.

Patrick Mallek has been applying his creative talents to the Natural and Organic Foods Industry since 1995. Whether it’s illustrations for Earth Balance, designing a website for Celestial Seasonings or directing animation for GoGo SqueeZ, his quirky works are here to remind us that, while the work we do might be serious business, we can still have fun while spreading the message.

Robert Ottinger is CEO of Reality Garage, whose goal is to create and promote VR experiences (including virtual/augmented/mixed reality) to make the real world better.

Larry Miller is the President at Edutainment Systems, LLC, a cutting edge software development focusing on designing interactive and generative educational game experiences and applications for writing education geared toward kids aged 5-12. Larry received his BS in Marketing from Chestnut Hill College.
