Meet the Panelists

Matthew Mueller
Matt has over 12 years of public accounting experience and serves as a senior tax manager in the Denver location of Moss Adams. He specializes in manufacturing and consumer products tax compliance, including domestic production incentives and R&D credits, accounting method changes, tangible asset regulations, and transactional work including asset sales, liquidations, and reorganizations. Matt has expertise with consolidated corporate taxation and the taxation of pass-through entities. As a result of Matt’s experience and background, he has also acquired a strong foundation in the tax consulting and compliance issues surrounding closely held businesses and their owners.

Heidi Huntington
Heidi has over 18 years of experience in accounting and has worked with companies in various industries including: high tech start ups, software, venture capital, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, nonprofit, professional services and the investment banking sector. Prior to joining AVL, Heidi was the Director of Virtual Business Solutions at Anton Collins Mitchell after merging her own accounting practice, founded in 2000, with ACM. Her practice provided small and midsized companies with full cycle accounting services, financial reporting metrics, human resources support, operations structures and best practice solutions. 
Since joining AVL Heidi supports 9 clients with KPI metrics and reporting, strategic modeling to support long term goals and other key initiatives, compensation and incentive planning, cash flow reporting and forecasting, revenue growth planning and debt and equity round support.

Lucas Barrowman
Lucas currently leads Propeller’s Accounting teams across the nation and is the head of the Boulder office, where he is working with consumer e-commerce and CPG clients, building and mentoring the team, and expanding Propeller’s relationships across Colorado. Over the past 10 years, Lucas has partnered with founders and executives to build their
venture-stage companies, blending expertise across Finance, Accounting, Operations and HR. He has extensive experience building systems and leading teams in high-growth
environments. He is passionate about partnering with entrepreneurs and investors to scale
their companies and drive financial success.
Prior to Propeller, Lucas worked with fast-growing private and public companies such as Chipotle Mexican Grill in several high-profile roles.

John Bek
With over 25 combined years of operational and consulting experience in wholesale distribution, including extensive experience working with food & beverage companies, John brings industry knowledge and process expertise to NetSuite with the goal of driving product solutioning, spreading industry knowledge, and ultimately helping to drive customer success. In his current role as Segment Leader for the Food & Beverage segment, he leads a cross functional team in the execution of our Food & Beverage go to market strategy. His primary charters are Solution Innovation, Sales & Pipeline Building, Market Positioning, Messaging & Awareness, as well as Customer Delivery & Success.
