The Company
Great opportunity to join a growing B2B import and distribution Company involved in the sale of dried botanical ingredients to National and International Tea Companies and Brewing Companies.

Administrative Support Functions
– Prepare and ship samples via USPS/UPS/Fedex/DHL: print sample labels, pack sample bags, arrange postage online, create/print sample lists, create shipping labels/paperwork
– Maintain organization of the Sample Room
– Prepare samples for tasting and participate in tastings
– Monitor and follow up on sample approvals with customers
– Print and file purchase orders and related shipping documents
– Maintain electronic files of purchase orders and contract related paperwork
– Courier shipping documents to customs brokers & Customers as required
– Update Shipment Tracking and Customer Tracking spreadsheets as required
– Prepare Meridian Contracts for signature
– Prepare Meridian Purchase orders
– Maintain Office database of shipments on the water
– Maintain databased of all unshipped/open orders
– Arrange freight with 3rd party domestic transportation companies as needed
– Answer phone

Hours
9am – 1pm 5 days per week (20 hours)
Reports to – Director of Operations

Experience
-MS Excel/Outlook/Word
-Customer Service
-Communication
-Information Management
– Any import experience a plus
– Any experience of Quickbooks accounting package a plus

The Person
Energetic, professional, initiative taker/problem solver, great communicator, computer savvy, good with numbers, meticulous attention to detail, happy working independently.

Starting Salary
$18-$25 per hour depending upon work experience
