Company Background:

ONE Brands, formerly OhYeah! Nutrition, was founded in 1999 by Ron McAfee, a pioneer and leader in the protein category. Historically, OhYeah focused on the nutrition space, offering protein shakes, powders and supplements. In late 2015, OhYeah launched their newest innovation – the ONE Bar. In just 12 months, ONE Bar exploded onto the marketplace, amassing a huge following despite limited distribution. The launch of the ONE Birthday Cake Bar sealed the deal on ONE’s position as a leading better-for-you indulgent protein snack, touting superior taste and texture.

Since then, OhYeah rebranded to ONE Brands, continued to innovate into new flavors and recently launched ONE PLANT, a plant-protein based bar. ONE has been the fastest-growing protein bar in the category for the last year and has continued to increase awareness, distribution and household penetration nationally. In October 2019, ONE Brands was acquired by the Hershey Company and yet maintains offices in Charlotte, NC and Boulder, CO. ONE Brands is focused on proving that guilt-free indulgence is possible, offering high protein and low sugar products that deliver on amazing taste and texture.

Job Summary:

ONE Brands seeks a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Manager in our Boulder, CO office who will report directly to the VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior strategy and project management skills in all facets of the marketing mix in order to help support ONE’s sales and brand growth goals. An understanding of brand strategy and proven experience integrating content with the rest of marketing will help this candidate excel. S/he will also bring passion, leadership and a take charge attitude to our marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountable for assisting and managing initiatives across Digital, Social Media, Content, and CRM.
Manage projects for successful launch/delivery per agreed timelines and objectives (including schedules, processes, deadlines, approvals, reporting, success metrics, timelines, etc)
Oversees all data management for digital and social media initiatives
Accountable for meeting and exceeding goals/KPIs, as well as managing paid media budget
Responsible for content management and calendaring to ensure integrated marketing communications

Digital Paid Media

Responsible for providing strategic direction and recommendations regarding digital metrics and analytics for paid social and Google/Bing.
Drive post-analysis of all digital components of campaigns to determine ROI and future campaign improvements.
Work on Google, Bing and Social Media campaign management, as well as work very closely with our digital agency on day-to-day aspects of each campaign / tactic including facilitating weekly optimization meetings.
Oversee and report using Google Analytics including making recommendations to team based on data and insights.
Work closely with the e-Commerce Digital Manager, provide assistance on Walmart.com, Instacart, Target.com, and other retail and/or brick & mortar needs
Provide on-going, strategic leadership and insight into new and emerging online trends, mobile capabilities, apps/digital tools, and performance/optimization tools. Work with digital partners to have on-going, competitive, and best-in-class tools.
Work with and leverage Hershey counterparts on any integrated, best practices or opportunistic synergies where we can leverage the full Hershey portfolio in media and digital.

CRM / Content:

Act as content manager working cross functionally with Creative Director and Brand Manager to define content strategy and execution of marketing communications.
Strong understanding of content management systems
Project manager for content creation including copy, images, videos that will be leveraged across all marketing functions including for online retailers, emails, and social media
Oversee external agencies to create content that aligns with brand and creative strategies
Manage email campaigns from strategic conception, program management and execution through performance tracking and analysis with a goal of nurturing / acquiring.
Work with Hershey to ensure use of best practices and compliance around permission-based marketing, privacy, spam regulation (CAN/SPAM), and deliverability.
Help oversee day-to-day SEO activities with agency including keywords, content

Social Media:

Oversee and manage paid and organic social media measurement and KPIs
Manage external agencies to define goals, strategies, and execution of paid social media campaigns
Manage and help create the monthly Social Media Content Calendar, including imagery and copy
Assist with consumer responses via social media and incoming emails
Knowledge of Influencer campaigns and ambassador programs including seeding and giveaways
Assist with ratings & reviews management as needed.
Help lead executional support for ONE social media content calendars such as posting / scheduling
Understanding of boosting, paid ads and measuring success

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
2-4 years of digital experience within an agency, marketing firm or client-side marketing department is desired; consumer packaged goods marketing preferred.
Experience with both traditional and innovative communications and marketing techniques, including social media and all digital
Experience managing outside agencies
Experience with Budget Management
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is a must
Must know Google Analytics
MailChimp experience is a plus
