Who We Are:
We’re changing the way the world drinks milk and bringing people back to dairy, one glass at a time. In 2000, The a2 Milk Company was founded in New Zealand by Dr. Corran McLachlan after discovering that proteins in milk affect people differently. He learned that ordinary cows produce milk with different beta-casein proteins, called A1 and A2. He then discovered there was a safe and simple way to identify cows who produced milk that was naturally A1 protein free. Published research suggests that a2 Milk® may help avoid stomach discomfort in some people. That’s because a2 Milk® contains only the A2 protein and no A1.

The a2 Milk Company currently has distribution in more than 6,000 retail outlets in the U.S. including at major grocers Walmart, Costco, Target, Wegmans, Stop & Shop, Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover, Whole Foods Market, Market Basket, Sprouts, Safeway, King Soopers, Ralphs, Publix, ShopRite, The Fresh Market.

What You Will Do:
The Digital Marketing Specialist drives The a2 Milk Company digital marketing through SEM, SEO, Social Media, CRM and all other web activities. The position acts as the daily contact for all digital agencies and pushes forward strategy as developed with the Brand Manager. He/she moderates all social community conversations and proactively engages new audiences. He/she will be a brand champion and strong communicator with both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities include:
Digital Media Coordination = 40%
Act as daily contact for SEO, SEM and Social Media agencies
Assist in developing digital strategy in close partnership with agencies and Brand Manager
Safeguard the brand and ensure that all communications and creative are consistent
Responsible for project/campaign timelines, budget, KPIs, reporting, and optimization
Manage influencer outreach and strategy

Proactive & Reactive Community Management = 30%
Manage public comments and customer queries in a timely, engaging manner
Monitor and report results of online reviews and public commentary
Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and online influencers
Facilitate and moderate conversations on all digital platforms
Identify and leverage brand ambassadors nationally and regionally
Keep up to date on community management best practices

Reporting & Analysis = 15%
Actively gather, analyze and present digital brand/competitor insights, trends and data
Present high-level performance and actionable recommendations to management, as required

Other Digital Support = 15%
Plan and execute newsletter program including strategy, creative direction, optimization and reporting
Gather feedback and coordinate social and website content approvals
Additional duties and various projects, as needed

Who You Are:
BS/BA Degree, Business or Marketing preferred
Minimum 3-5 years’ digital marketing experience including digital media, content creation and community management (consumer packaged goods experience preferred)
Excellent strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills including leadership, communication and teamwork
Creative thinker with the ability to track trends and develop or seek out innovative ideas
Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with both internal and external contacts
Ability to manage and prioritize many projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word Press, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Basic HTML, Google AdWords (Search & Display Network), Google Tag Manager
