E-Commerce Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for the company’s marketing and development of revenue streams for the company across multiple platforms. This role will be responsible for creating the optimal online brand and customer experience and driving e-commerce sales, while supporting integrated marketing plans. The e-commerce manager will manage the company’s daily digital operations along with third-party partners to drive operational performance, achieve sales goals, and drive future growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Manage e-commerce strategy to drive brand salience, grow market share and revenue in long- and short-term
● Accurately capture daily site analytics and ability to interpret data into trends and strategy
● Collaborate with broader marketing team to analyze CRM / e-mail performance and utilize list segmentation, personalization, and content optimization to drive customer acquisition and retention
● Manage the market to develop, source, and stock the optimal product assortment in order to optimize conversion and improve user experience
● Responsible for product set up, purchasing and pricing negotiations
● Manage inventory flows, including forecasting, purchasing, and developing exit strategies
● Partner with 3PL and internal operations team to improve fulfillment capabilities and minimize costs
● Partner with the engineering and web development team to enhance on-site experience and improve customer conversions
● Work with team to develop tools for analysis and reporting
● Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to add additional revenue streams to the core business

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Demonstrated experience in CPG e-commerce; preferred experience in frozen or refrigerated temperature state
● Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously: prioritization, planning, and delegation
● Demonstrated cross-functional leadership on large projects
● Track record of taking ownership and driving results
● Self-starter who can power through ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
● Understanding of key retail performance metrics, including markup, margin, sell thru, and demand curves
● Proven analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving skills
