Ripple Foods is looking for a Materials Planner to join our Supply Chain Team based in either our Berkeley, CA or Denver, CO office. The Supply Chain team drives the execution of bringing our delicious, innovative products to market. The Materials Planner position will work collaboratively across Operations and closely with R&D, finance, and other Ripple Foods functions to manage production execution and raw material planning, including report building and documentation, tracking of raw materials and on-time delivery to co-packer and warehousing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning (campaign execution and recap reporting) across all raw materials / packaging needed to support monthly finished goods production
  • Efficient allocation of materials across all manufacturing locations in time to support production campaign
  • Assist in planning and launch of new product lines/extension by partnering with cross functional teams on lead-time management to deliver materials in time for launch
  • Supports Procurement team in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and co-manufacturers, building out process and supporting for scale-up
  • Contribution to the S&OP process via the below:
  • Supply Planning and Warehousing (Raw Materials, Packaging, Warehouse Forecasting)
  • ERP management (POs, Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Inventory Management) via Netsuite software & Supply Planning (forecasting, reporting, inventory management) via Netsuite / i3PL, and Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in materials planning / supplier management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in CPG/Food & Beverage Industry/Sustainability/Co-Manufacturing environment
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and sense of humor
  • Strong team player, ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
  • Creative problem solver; able to work independently to produce quality results
  • Strong time management skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills are a plus
  • No ego – you are ready to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done
  • Play the role of janitor, receptionist, IT-person, printer-jam-clearer, and have a ‘pitch-in’ attitude alongside everyone else at Ripple
