In 2011, Matt LaCasse and his then-girlfriend-now-wife, Lizzi Ackerman, set out to build a natural food company based on perfecting and optimizing the foods we love. The duo experimented with every supplier of every ingredient they used and ended up with the most delicious just-add-water, better-for-you pancake & waffle mixes on the market. Birch Benders is the #1 pancake mix brand in the natural channel, available nationwide in over 8000 retailers, and recently launched a new line of frozen toaster waffles, with much more innovation to come!
