Title: Order & Logistics Coordinator

S.W Basics is an all-natural, sustainable skin care company that’s looking for a proactive individual to join our growing team! We work with numerous national retailers including Target, Whole Foods, Amazon and CVS, and distribute with UNFI.

Role would include, but is not limited to the below:

Manage Entire Customer Sales Order Process

• Handle customer order process from order placement to delivery/invoicing in a timely manner
• Ensure pricing, promotions and terms are aligned with company policy before processing orders
• Ensure timely shipments in the most efficient manner
• Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure high level of customer service, order accuracy, and invoice accuracy
• Test and set-up new EDI customers
• Track order efficiency to highlight customer non-compliance with ordering guidelines (incorrect pricing, unauthorized promotion, etc.)
• Each Monday, run report of open sales orders and ensure orders are set up and shipping according to order details
• Each Friday, review open sales reports to ensure all orders were shipped during the week
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively raise potential issues
• Track shorts and communicate them to buyers & sales reps


• Be the point person for all communications with warehouse
• Work with warehouse to ensure all EDI orders are completed efficiently and accurately
• Work with warehouse to ensure all e-commerce orders are completed efficiently and accurately
• Coordinate movement of finished goods from the manufacturer to the warehouse
• Manage received goods into the warehouse and check for and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct analysis of company data and plan appropriate improvements in the company’s performance
• Place purchase orders on behalf of the VP of Ops

Sales Related Support

• Manage ordering guidelines and spec sheets and communicate changes internally
• Enhance communication between company’s sales team and brokers regarding shipments, pricing, and other operational/logistical issues
• Obtain a full understanding of the distribution of company products (distributors & retailers)
• Always surface issues that impact customers as soon as possible as well as provide recommendations and solutions
• Manage and track specific marketing/sales sample needs adhering to sample sales order process
• Follow up in a proactive fashion to all inquiries, issues, etc.
• Enhance/establish processes where necessary
• Keep customer/buyer/EDI contact lists/hierarchy up to date


• 1-3 years of order processing and logistics experience, preferably with a CPG company
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Strong ability to multi-task
• Experience with Quickbooks
• Must have Excel experience
• Must have EDI experience
