Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of projects, such as optimization, line extensions, and new product introductions. The Project Manager serves as the primary external/internal point of contact on client initiatives and leads the coordination of all external/internal communication and resources needed to meet established client expectations.

Essential Functions
Builds project plans including project scope and objectives, timelines, resources, deliverables and dependencies involving all relevant stakeholders
Monitors and summarizes progress of projects and presents these findings to management
Coordinates and tracks the completion of projects on time, within budget and scope
Works directly with the Commercialization team to coordinate deliverables and provide frequent updates
Works and coordinates with external/internal departments to ensure goals and deliverables are understood and to align resources
Assists in determining capital resources required
Reports and escalates to management as needed
Preforms risk management to minimize project risks
Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings leading project progress
Works with third party vendors
Interfaces with Fresca food safety/quality assurance, operations, logistics, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, accounting, product development and executive teams
Other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to ask the right questions and challenge information to ensure all avenues are properly explored
Comfortable leading cross-functional meetings at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in using project management tools, both 3rd party software and in-house templates
Demonstrated experience in developing and tracking budgets
Experience working in process improvement initiatives
Skilled problem solver and adept at multi-tasking

Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years of project management experience
Project Management Professional certification or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree
Food manufacturing, innovation, and continuous improvement, a plus
