The Position: Rocky Mt Region – Key Account Manager

Green Spoon is a natural food brokerage + sales management company, representing the most disruptive and emerging food + beverage brands in the industry.

We work with like-minded brands and people who share the common desire to shake things up, to bring the most exciting products to shelf, to offer our retail partners products that their customers love.

We are seeking a positive, passionate, and detail-oriented Rocky Mt Region – Key Account Manager based out of our HQ Office in Boulder, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and strengthen relationships with RM KEY ACCOUNTS and their category managers

-Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principals as the primary point of contact

-Address concerns and resolve issues in a quick and professional manner

-Work with the team to continuously improve effectiveness and productivity

-Be proactive and timely in supporting retailer

-Be proactive in recommending ways to increase sales for principals

-Attend and recap all national meetings with principals

-Ensure all global information is communicated to national and regional team members

-Develop, recommend and submit strategic /sound promotional plans for key principals

-Collaborate with leadership team to generate ideas for growing our principals business and make suggestions for improvement.

-Collaborate with leadership team to think of ways to continuously improve ourselves, our service to our principals / retailers, and the well-being of our team

-Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/skus

-Prepare and submit new item paperwork and any other paperwork needed to support our retailers and principals, submit distributor & retail promotions, etc.

-Identify and develop new opportunities & new brands to represent

Experience :

-A minimum of 4 years of Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is a must (4+ years is preferred)

-Sales management experience is strongly preferred

-Natural/organic product industry experience

-Demonstrate strong analytic skills, particularly related to Sales data, Category Management, Shopper Insight

-Listening, negotiation and presentation skills
