What You Will Do:
The Supply Chain Specialist will manage the strategic and tactical efforts of the Supply Chain department, ensuring both external and internal customers continuously receive quality products. The role is responsible for inventory management, price control, and risk mitigation in order to prevent supply chain or process interruptions, and for maintaining effect partnerships with vendors.
General Responsibilities:
Issue, manage and track Purchase Orders to maintain appropriate inventory levels and to ensure uninterrupted supply chain.
Maintain positive vendor relationships.
Participate in the verification and validation of authenticity and purity of raw materials.
Using accurate internal & external data, monitor and react to changing inventory levels and vendor actions to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
Effectively communicate projected interruptions to department heads, highlighting the impact and recommended actions.
Foster a climate of safety, urgency, accuracy, and timeliness.
Responsible for Food Safety, Food Quality & Food Security.

Who You Are:
2+ years of experience in a vendor or customer-facing role.
Cross-functional experience with Accounting, Production, Logistics, Receiving, and Planning personnel is a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to interpret data and effectively communicate information is required.
Advanced computer skills required, with demonstrated knowledge of & expertise in Microsoft programs.
Experience with FishBowl Inventory is preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
