Position Summary
The Regional Account and Sales Support Manager is a full-time position that will maintain and grow Good Day Chocolate’s business in independent and small to mid-sized regional customer accounts and simultaneously own various internal and external planning and administrative functions. You’ll be joining a fast-growing entrepreneurial company that’s disrupting functional snacking and supplements.

Snapshot of Responsibilities:
• Manage Good Day Chocolate business and relationships in existing independent and small to mid-sized regional customer accounts within traditional retail channels – including and not limited to monitoring sales trends, managing category review cycles/samples, new item strategy, promotion calendars, post promotional/ROI analysis, deductions
• Cultivate new business with independent and small to mid-sized regional accounts using all available methodologies (networking, cold calling, market research, competitive intelligence, industry resources, third parties – distributors/brokers/agencies), technology etc.)
• Manage and support third party partners and brokers, creating advocates to drive performance
• Share frequent updates internally and externally to mitigate unexpected outcomes
• Train and develop customers and third-party partners on GDC portfolio and objectives as required – via phone calls, webinars and on site/in-market visits
• Manage third-party portals and contract management and maintenance as required
• Own new item set-up and sample coordination with customers and third parties
• Support new item launches by training, motivating and managing third party partners
• Attend customer, broker and distributor meetings, trade shows, industry or consumer events and market visits as needed to maintain existing and pursue new relationships
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create sales reports, collateral and presentations for internal and external initiatives (including compelling stories for customer presentations, distributor and board meetings, sell sheets, price lists, spec
sheets, etc.,)
• Comprehends “big picture” strategy with a strong focus on analytics to maximize opportunities, create plans and programs and address and overcome customer challenges
• Leverage available POS, syndicated and distributor data against fact-based selling, ROI analysis, trade promotion calendar planning and execution, distribution tracking, and market intelligence
• Primary liaison for deduction management/dispute process between third party deduction agency, third party sales partners, GDC sales and finance teams
• Support eCommerce initiatives as needed (i.e. researching supplier source for known resellers)
• Be a Good Day Chocolate ambassador and spokesperson within the community and industry, networking and exploring unique opportunities and scenarios for the brand and company – which may at times fall outside the scope of traditional channels (in other words, live and breathe the brand)

• Bachelor’s degree with business emphasis preferred
• Fully competent with Mac OS, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• 3+ year’s experience in natural and conventional CPG food, supplement, or HBC/NBC sales
• Track record of success in a similar national or regional role
• Skilled at communication, customer and relationship management and negotiation
• Strong attention to detail
• Distributor and broker management experience
• Independent and also a collaborative team player: proactive in leading and owning projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset, creative problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with conceptual selling and able to use data to design and deliver a powerful and concise PowerPoint presentation
for buyers, category managers and third-party agencies
• Capable of contributing to sales forecast using data, industry tools, trade math, margin and ROI optimization
• Self-motivated, curious and comfortable with ambiguity typical of a young/growing company
• Willing and able to adapt and flex to frequently changing internal and external environments
• Ability to thrive while multi-tasking and wearing several hats
