Wholesale Channel Sales Leader

We currently serve customers around the world through our direct ecommerce channel – Foria is also focused on thoughtful expansion across the United States and in certain select international markets through the development of our wholesale channel program.

We are currently recruiting a Wholesale Channel Sales Leader (WSL) to identify, qualify and on-board wholesale business partners that can address our hemp/CBD product clientele. The role will report to the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and can be based at either of Foria’s office locations in Boulder, Colorado or Venice, California.

The WSL will have the objective of on-boarding a minimum of four target business partners per year and will initially focus on the North American and EU markets for business partner candidates, including distributors and multi-store retailers. Asian, Latin American and Australian markets will be addressed as those markets mature.
The WSL will create assets, processes and relationships that enable Foria to drive channel revenue goals. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a state of the art knowledge of cannabis distributor/larger retailer industries spanning consumer product goods, consumer wellness segments and market regulatory frameworks. The WSL role will be responsible for coordinating Foria cross-functional teammates to execute Foria management of the following functions PO/invoice, finished goods supply/fulfillment, collaborative marketing plans and client care.
This position will have a compensation package composed of base pay plus performance based incentives (individual and company) including Foria equity. We also offer health, dental and vision benefits.

Maintain current and future looking knowledge regarding hemp/CBD wholesale channel business partner candidates, wholesale licensing models, state and country cannabis wholesale/retail regulatory frameworks

Experienced at and be able to execute core responsibilities including

Design, document, maintain and execute process & assets (Foria and business partners) that execute business development and on-boarding action plans of target wholesale business partners (WBP)

Proactively execute consumer product, wellness industry research related to identifying trends, rules and potential WPB candidates

Produce and communicate monthly WBP targeting, on-boarding status reports highlighting target WBP profiles, qualification highlights, deal parameters, on-boarding tactics and account management transitions to teammates and schedules

Must Have Credentials & Pluses (+)

Minimum of three years in related consumer products, business development/sales positions

Minimum of one year applied experience in working with Google Suite, collaboration apps (Google Hangouts, Voxer, Slack) and other online applications

University degree in business administration
+ Consumer product goods sales management or specialties certifications
+ Cannabis industry sales, business development
