19th Annual Pitch Slam & Annual Awards
Welcome to Naturally Boulder’s 19th Annual Pitch Slam and Annual Awards! Come cheer on your favorite brands as they compete for a generous prize package and title of Pitch Slam winner! Sample the latest and greatest new innovative products from the local community and celebrate the stand-out members of our community that will be honored during the Annual Awards. Pitch Slam —
Five entrepreneurs will pitch their young companies to a panel of experts as hundreds of audience members join us from across the country. Each competitor has 3 minutes to pitch, 3 minutes of Q&A from the judges and the same goal: to win a free booth at New Hope’s Newtopia Now 2024, a guaranteed opportunity to pitch at the Pitch Slam, and a robust suite of business services from our sponsor community valued over $93k! New to this year’s Pitch Slam prize pack: a cash prize for both the winner and runner up, sponsored by our generous prize pack donors!
If you are a Naturally Boulder sponsor that is interested in donating your services to the prize pack, you can submit your offerings in this form. Please note that this year, all prize pack donations are also required to include a $500 cash sponsorship that will get split between the winner and runner up to support them in their business ventures.
Innovation Showcase —
This event also provides established member brands the opportunity to share new products in the Innovation Showcase, our tabletop show. The Innovation Showcase expo hall will be filled with opportunities for guests to sample hot products and learn about interesting new services.

Naturally Boulder’s Annual Awards is a celebration of the natural and organic products industry and our vibrant community! Join us in recognizing our community of professionals who are harnessing the power of business as a force for positive change throughout the Pitch Slam presentation. Read below for the description of each award.
A note on ticket prices:
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the revenue from our signature events to help support us throughout the year so that we can continue to produce educational events and programming, such as the mentorship matching program. We appreciate your support of our continued efforts to support our members in the natural and organic products community. If purchasing a ticket would cause financial hardship, please email info@naturallyboulder.org to discuss volunteer opportunities in exchange for entry to the event.

Industry Leader of the Year
This award will be presented to an individual who has advanced the Colorado natural products community through deliberate and considerate advocacy, mentorship, and/or leadership. Consideration is given to the length and depth of commitment the individual has demonstrated to the Colorado natural products community.
Service Provider of the Year
The Service Provider of the Year award will be presented to an organization that demonstrates a dedication to the advancement of the Colorado natural products community through conscious efforts to grow, collaborate, and innovate across the businesses it serves. This business not only gives back to the community, but is committed to progressing the education and professional development of its employees.
Conscious Business Catalyst
The Conscious Business Catalyst will recognize a local business that contributes to the greater good of the Naturally Boulder (and broader) community through their investments in climate, environmental, social, disaster relief, and more. This business must be willing to share information as needed regarding donations, networking, volunteer, partnership, or other mission-driven efforts and programs. Must be a Naturally Boulder member.
Emerging Brand of the Year
This award will be presented to a growing Colorado-based company that is under four years old and/or has less than $20M in sales, that has demonstrable strong sales growth and accelerated distribution, as well as media buzz or philanthropic efforts. Must have at least one person in organization who is a Naturally Boulder Member.
Brand of the Year
This award will be presented to a Colorado-based company that has greater than than $20M in sales, that has demonstrable strong sales growth and accelerated distribution, as well as media buzz or philanthropic efforts. Must have at least one person in organization who is a Naturally Boulder Member.
Lance Gentry Award
This award will be presented to a Colorado-based organization that embodies the spirit of the late beloved Lance Gentry and his passion for innovation, community building, and concern and awareness of environmental impact. This organization must have some scale and provable concept acceptance through media buzz, awards, or market distribution. Must have at least one person in organization who is a Naturally Boulder member.
