Meet the Panelists
Heather Collins
For the past 15 years Heather Collins has workied in communications and marketing for national brands within the natural products industry. Fueled by heart-healthy, gluten-free and organic food, Collins most recently served as the Communications Director at Alfalfa’s Market. She currently works as an independent contractor with Compass Natural Marketing, Boulder International Film Festival, Ka-Pop! Snacks and lil’gourmets baby food. Collins’s career focuses on media relations, events and community relations. Before entering into the natural products space, Heather was a former TV Reporter/News Anchor in her home state of Nebraska. She earned a BA in Mass Communications from the University of Denver.
Aaron Falber
Aaron Falber is the Founder of Rooster & Lark, based in Denver. Aaron started Rooster & Lark at the 2014 Denver farmer’s markets and has since grown distribution to 600 grocery stores across the country. He has competed in the Naturally Boulder pitch slam three times and won 2nd place in 2018.
Luke Vernon
Luke Vernon is a Managing Partner of Ridgeline Ventures, a Boulder-based investment firm that invests in better-for-you and better-for-the-planet companies such as Bobo’s, Bonafide Provisions, Cotopaxi, and several others. Prior to Ridgeline, Luke was involved in a number of ventures, including as the COO of Eco-Products, the nation’s leading brand of sustainable foodservice packaging, which he helped lead to a successful exit. Luke is also the founder of Luke’s Circle, a jobs site that helps emerging companies find talented professionals.
